Weekends of Renewal

Details of the next Weekend of Renewal coming soon! Please check back from time to time.

Weekends of Renewal usually start on the Friday evening and continue with a programme through Saturday afternoon and conclude with a Saturday evening empowerment Service.

Friday evening, usually staring at 7pm, is usually focused on bringing healing and is open to the public; includes Praise and Worship, talks, guided prayers for inner healing, and a candle procession, following which there is exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, then an invitation for those present to come forward for individual personal prayer. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is also usually available.

Saturday morning/ afternoon is usually a private session for our Volunteers, those involved in ministries, such as our partners in mission, to help them in their own spiritual growth and development, and their development of their spiritual gifts. This session is not open to the public, but by invitation only

Saturday evening, usually starting at 7pm, is usually a time for Empowerment; Praise and Worship, talks and and prayers for Empowerment or a new release of the Holy Spirit, conducted before the Blessed Sacrament.

We usually invite gifted speakers from arounf the UK for these weekends, and each weekend is never the same.

These weekends are Free entrance to all, donation collected during the service.

They are usually planned to be integrated with the Liturgical Services of the Cathedral, for Mass times over the weekend, and also allow for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Exposition and other activities that also can be integrated in to the weekend programme.
